grand rapids, mi. this is the second storm drain painting i was able to do with lions and rabbts center for the arts. my inspiration came from the sanctity of water, even on such a basic level of our city waterways.

grand rapids, mi. this jølla the fishing troll, you can find him hanging out by the civic theater on rainbow road. this painting was done with the help of lions and rabbits center for the arts, as a part of their storm drain initiative. keep the storm drains clean!

this piece was done in collaboration with E.J. March Leather Goods. i was asked to paint a panel of leather to be incorperated into a bag Elijah was making, this piece was the result. Elijah told me to choose the subject matter, i decided to paint three species of butterflies, and he chose a beautiful blue/green hued leather to compliment them.

this was for a college art class, a color study. it now hangs in the home of my lovely in-laws, forever admired.

this is the art piece i entered into grand rapids art prize in 2022. this piece is of two of my dogs, surrounded by flowers, specific species that are important to me, representing my past and future.
